Six short comics to read, color and talk about together. Lucas, Kai and their friends lose their temper, lose a race and keep falling down. Along the way they pick up big ideas from the ancient Stoics.
WHY MISFITS?
We grew up on punk rock and skateboards, with all the bumps, bruises and scratches that come with them. We were misfits, and honestly, we kind of liked it that way.
Now we've got little misfits of our own. They lose their temper, they quit when something gets hard, they get scared of the dark. Same as we did. Same as we still do sometimes, if we're being honest.
The Stoics figured out a lot about that stuff a couple thousand years ago. These books are our way of passing it down the right way: a funny story, one big idea, and something to color while you talk about it.
FOR THE GROWN-UPS
Our little misfits are our little mirrors. In every story a grown-up admits they do it too: they get mad, they quit, they get scared. Read it together, then ask the question on the Spark page. No lectures, just a good story and a conversation.
